Welcome to Doorstep Prints ("we", "us", "our", or "Doorstep Prints"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you provide when using our application and printing services.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Doorstep Prints, we may collect the following information:

- Email address
- Phone number
- Delivery address
- Documents submitted for printing
- Information relating to your print orders
- Information necessary to process your payment
We collect only information that is reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure, and improve our printing and delivery services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use your information to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Process and fulfill printing orders.
- Receive and process documents submitted for printing.
- Print and prepare your documents for delivery.
- Deliver completed print orders to your provided address.
- Communicate with you regarding your orders.
- Process payments made through supported payment methods.

3. Documents and File Privacy
Documents submitted through Doorstep Prints are used to fulfill your printing order. We do not use your documents for advertising or sell your documents to third parties.
Authorized Doorstep Prints personnel may access a submitted document only when reasonably necessary to fulfill a printing order, resolve a technical or printing issue, provide customer support, or maintain the security and operation of the service.
We take reasonable measures to limit access to submitted documents to authorized personnel who need such access for legitimate business purposes.
4. Document Storage and Deletion
Documents submitted for printing may be temporarily stored using our cloud storage infrastructure while your order is being processed.
After the documents have been successfully delivered to you, the submitted documents are deleted from our active storage systems as part of our normal document-retention process.
Certain technical or backup copies may temporarily remain in secure backup systems until they are automatically overwritten or deleted according to applicable backup and security procedures.
5. Account Information
If you create an account, we may collect and store your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address to provide our services.
Your account information may be used to identify your account, process orders, provide delivery services, communicate with you, and provide customer support.
6. Payment Information
Doorstep Prints may allow users to make payments using UPI through a QR code or other supported payment methods.
Doorstep Prints does not store users' card, UPI PIN, banking passwords, or other sensitive payment credentials.
Payment processing may involve the payment service or financial institution selected by the user. Such providers may process payment information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
7. Delivery Information
Doorstep Prints uses its own delivery staff to deliver completed print orders.
To complete a delivery, your name, phone number, and delivery address may be provided to the Doorstep Prints delivery staff responsible for delivering your order.
Delivery information is used only as reasonably necessary to complete the delivery and provide the requested service.
8. App Permissions
Doorstep Prints does not require access to your GPS/location, camera, Bluetooth, nearby devices, notifications, or device storage permissions as part of the information collection described in this Privacy Policy.
If the application requests a permission in the future, we will use the permission only for the functionality for which it is requested and will update this Privacy Policy where appropriate.
9. Third-Party Services and Cloud Storage
Doorstep Prints uses Firebase Cloud Storage to store documents and other information required for the operation of the printing service.
Information processed through third-party infrastructure may be subject to the security practices and applicable terms of those service providers. We take reasonable steps to use third-party services that provide appropriate security measures for the information processed through them.
We do not use third-party advertising services in the application.
We do not currently use analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising services to collect information about users through the application.
10. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may disclose limited information when necessary to operate Doorstep Prints, including:
- Cloud service providers used to store and process information required to provide the service.
- Payment service providers when necessary to process your payment.
- Doorstep Prints employees or authorized personnel when necessary to process, print, troubleshoot, support, or deliver your order.
- Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
We do not share your personal information with unrelated third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information and submitted documents against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Access to information is limited to people and systems that reasonably need it to operate the service.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your Doorstep Prints account through the account deletion option available within the application.
When you request account deletion, your account will be disabled and you will no longer be able to use the account in the normal manner.
Soft Deletion
Account deletion is currently implemented as a soft-deletion process. This means that deleting your account does not necessarily result in the immediate permanent deletion of every record associated with the account.
We may retain certain information for legitimate purposes, including:
- Security and fraud prevention.
- Legal and regulatory compliance.
- Resolving disputes and enforcing our terms.
- Maintaining necessary business and operational records.
- Protecting the security and integrity of our systems.
- Backup and disaster-recovery purposes.
Information retained for these purposes will not be used for ordinary account access after the account has been deleted and will be handled according to applicable retention requirements.
13. Order and Transaction Information
Doorstep Prints does not intend to retain completed order information indefinitely after the printing and delivery process has been completed.
Where information must be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or other legitimate purposes, it may be retained for the period reasonably required for that purpose.
14. Children's Privacy
Doorstep Prints is available to users generally and is not specifically directed toward children.
If you are under the age at which parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, you should use Doorstep Prints only with the involvement and permission of your parent or legal guardian.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances where the required consent was not obtained, we will take reasonable steps to address the situation in accordance with applicable law.

Account information may be retained after account deletion where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, business continuity, or other legitimate purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
